Steve Conway took up pottery as a teenager working up to an A-level at Macclesfield College. Ceramics gradually became side lined by a career in medicine. Many years later as retirement approached, he returned to pottery in a garden studio. Isolation in the pandemic allowed a focus on glazed development, form and experimentation with various clays.
